During UNGA81: An event co-hosted by Reykjavik Global and All In: Global Leaders for Ending Gender-Based Violence
Women and girls have shared their experiences, raised their voices and called for action to address gender-based violence. While the human, social and economic impacts of violence are well documented, there still remains the need for action to create lasting change.
This discussion will explore the role of leadership across parliaments, governments, institutions, businesses and communities in driving progress. Through powerful storytelling, shared experiences and evidence-informed solutions, we will consider how to build safer environments and deliver sustainable change for women and girls.

The event is hosted by Reykjavík Global Forum and All In: Global Leaders for Ending Gender-Based Violence. The Reykjavík Global Forum is a diverse and action-driven community of more than 12,500 women leaders and allies committed to advancing women’s leadership and influence worldwide. Through a range of initiatives and programme streams focused on knowledge-sharing, convening and collective action, the network creates opportunities for collaboration, learning and impact. Members come together throughout the year through global events, virtual conversations and the annual Reykjavík Global Forum in Iceland, fostering dialogue and strengthening efforts to drive meaningful change.
All In: Global Leaders for Ending Gender-Based Violence is a global initiative dedicated to accelerating political commitment, investment and visibility for the prevention of gender-based violence. Bringing together leaders from across sectors, regions and lived experiences, All In works to advance evidence-based approaches, mobilise cross-sector action and increase resources for prevention efforts. Central to its work is amplifying the voices, knowledge and leadership of those with lived experience, feminist movements and communities most affected by gender-based violence, helping to shape more effective and inclusive solutions.
