Reykjavík Global Forum 2026: Women Leaders Shaping Solutions for a Changing World

This November, more than 500 leaders from across politics, business, academia, civil society, media and the arts will gather in Iceland for the 9th Annual Reykjavík Global Forum, one of the world's leading convenings dedicated to advancing women in leadership. Taking place from 15-17 November 2026, this year's Forum will explore the theme"Power, Together for Community."

Since its launch in 2018, the Reykjavík Global Forum has brought together influential leaders from more than 80 countries to share ideas, challenge conventional thinking and accelerate progress towards greater equality in leadership. Co-hosted with the Government and Parliament of Iceland, the Forum creates a unique space for collaboration, bringing together decision-makers and change-makers from across sectors to address some of the world's most pressing challenges.

A More Solution-Driven Forum

The 2026 Forum is set to be its most action-oriented yet. Through a dynamic programme of masterclasses, panel discussions, workshops, roundtables and curated networking opportunities, participants will explore practical solutions that can drive meaningful change within organisations, communities and society.

Discussions will be shaped around the Reykjavík initiatives and five key programme tracks:

  • Economic Growth
  • Inclusive Innovation
  • Research & Health
  • Shared Responsibility
  • Policy & Law
  • Sustainable Stability

Together, these themes reflect the interconnected challenges facing leaders today and highlight the role of collaboration in building more equitable and resilient societies.

A Global Community of Leaders

What makes the Reykjavík Global Forum unique is its ability to bring together a diverse community of leaders from across sectors and geographies. The invitation-only gathering creates opportunities for honest conversations, meaningful connections and the exchange of proven approaches to leadership and equality.

By showcasing innovative ideas and practical solutions from around the world, the Forum provides participants with valuable insights into how organisations and institutions are advancing gender equality and increasing the representation of women in leadership positions.

Join the Conversation

As organisations and societies navigate growing economic, social and political complexity, the need for collaborative leadership has never been greater. The Reykjavík Global Forum offers an opportunity to learn from global leaders, build meaningful connections and contribute to conversations that are shaping the future of leadership worldwide.
