Verian has partnered with our client, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), to understand appetite for changing careers to one that makes a positive difference. This is part of the Government’s recruitment drive for prison and probation roles, which is being led by the Ministry of Justice ‘Extraordinary Job’ campaign.
Approach
Using an online methodology, a representative sample of adults 18-65 from England and Wales were surveyed using Kantar’s online omnibus. The research was conducted 13th – 17th November 2025, with 934 interviews completed.
Quotas were set to ensure a representative sample in terms of age, gender, region, and socio-economic grade. Age and gender were interlocked (meaning quotas are set, for example, for females 16-24). We surveyed only respondents in England and Wales with the overall sample weighted to be nationally representative.
